Walked-Up Barbary Partridge Shooting

Truly wild walked-up Barbary Partridge shooting in the Atlas Mountains, pursuing birds entirely in their natural habitat.

THE EXPERIENCE

The Wild Barbary Partridge

The Barbary Partridge (Alectoris barbara) is native to North Africa, where it inhabits the rocky slopes and rugged terrain of the Atlas Mountains. Renowned for its swift, powerful flight and wariness, it offers a rewarding challenge in traditional walked-up shooting.

THE SEASON

From October To January

The Shooting —

Walked-up shooting takes place mainly across mountain terrain, as well as in selected rural and agricultural areas. Guests move on foot through the landscape, supported by experienced local beaters who help flush the birds naturally.

The experience can be combined with driven Barbary wild boar hunting and walked-up common quail shooting for a varied hunting itinerary.
